I'm Carlie, and I've been immersed in the world of video production for over 15 years. My journey has taken me to incredible places, providing me with invaluable experiences and insights across various domains.
A Cinematic Beginning
My venture into the world of film began during my university days when I co-founded an independent film company with a talented director. Over three years, we crafted three captivating short films, and our creations found homes at prestigious short film festivals worldwide. We even earned recognition and accolades for our work. However, securing investments proved challenging, as our projects didn't align with mainstream media's preferences. It was at this juncture that I decided to embark on a new adventure, one that would take me around the globe.
Sailing the Seas of Creativity
My next chapter led me to Princess Cruises, where I assumed the role of Video Producer. This was an exhilarating role that presented fresh and exciting challenges daily. I found myself capturing onboard ship events, documenting port tours, and immortalizing the beauty of weddings and vow renewals. This experience broadened my horizons, allowing me to witness breathtaking sights and learn invaluable lessons.
Turning Moments into Memories
When the world was confronted with the challenges of COVID-19, I returned home and began crafting heartfelt birthday films for family and friends who were unable to celebrate their milestones in person. It was during these moments that the concept of Eye Capture was born. I recognised that everyone had stories to share—precious memories, laughter-filled anecdotes, and heartfelt sentiments—often left unspoken.
Creating Timeless Legacies
Eye Capture has grown exponentially, evolving with each lesson learned along the way. Now, as I work remotely, I have the privilege of extending these special film packages to individuals across the globe. In a world that has grown smaller, we have friends and family scattered worldwide. With Eye Capture, we can bridge the distance, sharing our love, joy, and appreciation with those who matter most.
